RIALTO THEATER

The Rialto is a 1,200 seat theater that was built in 1925 by Lewis A. Smith. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it is considered one of the few remaining single-screen theaters in Southern California. The iconic 18,000 SF building has been owned by Shomof Group, and is currently home to Mosaic LA. Shomof Group worked diligently with the City of South Pasadena and historians to renovate the theater in 2020.
